Downtown Grand Rapids Inc's Alliance Recruitment Survey is now available! The survey aims to help identify volunteers to grow the community of contributors who help inform, guide and support DGRI's city building work.

DGRI actively engages more than 100 individuals from metro Grand Rapids in the decision-making flow of the organization's fiduciary Boards, advisory Alliances and project steering committees. This robust leadership network ensures that DGRI continually brings together people with different knowledge, perspective and experience to solve problems, identify opportunities and directly support the day-to-day work improving Grand Rapids' Downtown neighborhoods.

To that end, DGRI is committed to building a diverse, inclusive, and representative community-based organization. To achieve this, we seek to welcome fresh faces and perspectives into the three Alliances that form the foundation of our leadership network.

The survey is meant to compile information about the perspectives, demographic attributes, passions and expertise of prospective volunteers whom generously offer their time, energy, values, and experiences to the work of the organization. The information will be used to help us build diverse and effective citizen Alliances that foster constructive and considerate dialog among members.

Any information submitted will be kept confidential, but will be evaluated by organizational leaders whom are advising on opportunities for engagement with DGRI. Feel free to share this opportunity with individuals in your networks whom may be interested in participating.

The survey includes about 20 questions, and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Questions with an asterisk beside the numbering require an answer.

This survey will remain open until December 31, 2015.

Thank you, in advance, for helping to build a more vibrant, inclusive and successful Downtown Grand Rapids.
