The Grand Rapids Downtown Development Authority (DDA) Board meets Wednesday, December 9.

The meeting begins at 8 AM in the offices of Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. located at 29 Pearl Street NW.

The Board will receive a presentation on the results of Movies in the Park 2015, the third and most successful year for the series yet.

Other highlights include Board consideration of:

• Appointing a citizen steering committee to guide the development of conceptual plans for improving Calder Plaza.
• Supporting liquor licenses for two new Downtown businesses.
• New planters/plantings to beautify the streetscape around a key Downtown intersection.
• Funding to repair Lorrie’s Button in Ah-Nab-Awen Park.
