Walk [Your City] began as an urbanist guerrilla project in Raleigh, NC. The idea was to implement wayfinding signs that encouraged people to walk by telling them how many minutes any given walk would take. At a fraction of the cost of traditional, permanent wayfinding signs, Walk Your City signs give directions, encourage wellness, and connect great spots. Signs went up in downtown Grand Rapids in September 2014. They've helped countless visitors find their way while simultaneously encouraging locals to get out and walk.
