Event highlights include:

7:00 PM - Pre-movie entertainment begins.

• Live performance by Grand Rapids Aikikai, Kyoseikan Dojo.
• High voltage demonstration by The Geek Group.
• Costume contest for best comic book characters.
• Vault of Midnight pop-up tent store.
• Grand Rapids Comic Con tent programming.
• Drawings for Founders Brewing Co. gift card and UICA prize.
• Food vendors include Daddy Pete’s BBQ, Gettin’ Fresh, Love’s Ice Cream, Go Nuts, Dorothy and Tony’s Gourmet Kettle Corn, Topper’s Pizza and Ferris Coffee.

Dusk - The Matrix begins

Ah-Nab-Awen Park. West bank of the Grand River. Adjacent to Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. Downtown Grand Rapids.

• The park fills up fast, so get there early for the best seats.
• Costumes are encouraged.
• Nothing beats an ice cold one on a warm summer night. If you’d like to partake, be sure to bring your own beer or wine and picture ID.
• Bike parking is provided by the Greater Grand Rapids Bicycle Coalition.
• While packing up, you might as well make it a picnic in the park. If you forget food at home, vendors will have snacks for purchase.
• You’ll be outside for a few hours, so get comfy. We suggest bringing a blanket or chairs to sit on. Blankets up front. Chairs in the back.
• Bring bug spray, especially if you intend to sit near the river.
• You may love your ringtone, but that doesn’t mean everyone else does. Please silence your phones.
• If you need to talk during the movie, please keep your voices low.
• You are welcome to smoke, but please stay on the edges of the park.
