Downtown Grand Rapids Inc. (DGRI) is seeking interested artists to help create a projection mapping show that will be displayed on a nightly basis in the newly renovated Lyon Square. Illustrators, graphic designers, motion graphic artists, projection artists and other visual arts professionals are encouraged to share their vision and concept to serve as a creator and consultant on this project.

This initiative is inspired by "San Antonio | The Saga" - and builds on the Seasonal Wonders projection show displayed during the World of Winter festival in 2020.

In addition to creating a more vibrant and active riverfront space Downtown, one of the goals of this project is to depict the history of Grand Rapids throughout the ages from the glacial period to the present day. The selected consultant will work with the team at DGRI develop a workplan and create the visual art necessary to bring this living mural concept to life.
